Flower Dragon Illustrated

Remember this pretty little dragon from way back? Well I've had this idea for a while to go back and render some of the fan favorites as illustrations for the upcoming coloring book! And possibly some new zazzle merchandise.  Of course I would start with one of the most complex sculptures. This girl had so much detail in her! She took a surprisingly long time to illustrate, as I kept tweaking things to look better as a drawing. I was thinking it'd be easy to just go back and trace over the lines, but I ended up free handing a ton of stuff and adjusting things a lot. I personally think it's pretty neat to see her as a fully rendered illustration, but what do you guys think? Would you like to see some other sculpts in inked form? Or is it a waste of time?
