Pink Butterfly Dragon by DragonsAndBeasties Pink Butterfly Dragon by DragonsAndBeasties
I made this little one for my sister for Christmas. She can hang up or perch on your finger. Sorry for the kind of dark photos. I forgot to take some nice ones with my camera before I left town ^^;

Hand-sculpted from Premo Sculpey clay, around 3.5 inches long, the wings are laminated double printed cardstock.

I think this is my favorite you've ever done. The swirls and the ears! I love your perching dragons, but this one is by far the one that makes me squee the most. :D

What do you use for the eyes? I'm trying again at clay-making, but I'm curious to know where I would get marbles that small ><

ok how do you bake them if you cant set them down?? Do you hang them while it bakes or what because I would think it would fall off. Also how do you attach the wings, do you bake them too or glue them?

I made the dragon and cut slits on her back for the wings
Then I put her in poly-fill to bake her then used super glue for her wings :)
Hope this helped!

It's the stuffing used in pillows and plushies. You can find it at any fabric store :)

Have you ever tried to use a lighter paper soaked in liquid polyclay? I haven't gotten the pleasure of trying it, but I would guess if you used strips of solid polyclay for the veins, you could use different colors of liquid clay. I'm not sure how flexible they would be, but I imagine they might bring a little more unity, in terms of material.
