So this little cutie has actually been just hanging out in my studio for a while. I just keep forgetting to put her in my sales! I got it into my head one day a while back to make flat-backed pony pendants. I do like them, and they are much more durable and compact this way than 3D pendants, but I decided not to move forward with them. Pendants and charms make me nervous. If the person wearing them doesn't understand that they ARE still able to break, and treats them roughly, one good yank or whack against something hard could send one of those tiny curls flying! Soooo that's why I don't tend to make pendants anymore. They stress me out too much
It would be cool if I could come up with some sort of mold for pony pendants that would use a much more durable material. Being flat, they might actually mold well! I do really like them, so I might look into that more sometime. What do you guys think?
Handsculpted with Premo Sculpey clay, about 1.5 inches long
