Oriental Rainbow Progress

Every once in a while I will take pictures while I'm making something. I think it's neat to see how artists make their stuff, and people ask a lot about how I make the orientals. So here you go!

The inside is a foil armature, with a strong wire running through the length of the tail. Tails are very fragile so they need good support. The claws were pre-baked and then pressed into holes I made in the toes. Every single hair was carefully textured with a needle, then placed individually on the body. The belly gradient was made using the skinner blend method, which can be easily googled or youtubed. I can't really explain it very well, easier to watch how it's done
