Mama and Baby Gryphon

So in celebration of Mother's Day coming up soon, I'm making a bunch of mama and baby sculptures! My assistant Dezi demanded I make some gryphons, because they are such a rarity from me.

The baby is about the size I usually make my little gryphons (a tad smaller actually) so the mama is the biggest gryphon I've made. She's also the most detailed. So. Many. Feathers... I think that is why I don't make many gryphons. All their tiny feathers drive me crazy. I love her swoopy bangs and extra fluffy tail

Hand-made from Premo Sculpey clay, just under 2 inches tall
