Another finished commission. I really had fun with this guy. He is a bit bigger than my normal gryphons, so he has more wing detail. Basically they just asked me to come up with a frost gryphon, and here is the result! He has some fine shimmer powder applied to give him a frosty look, though the photo isn't showing it very well.
He has a fire brother here:
Handmade from colored Premo Sculpey clay, 2 inches tall NOT FOR SALE. Commissions are closed until July.
QUESTIONS??? Please visit my FAQ page [link] before asking questions about techniques and materials. Just about every question I get is covered there. I’m not trying to be rude, I just get tired of answering the same questions over and over
your art work is amazing!! how do you do all those details? like the eyes and spikes? do you make them sepertly then stick them on and then do that bake thing to keep them in place? Also do you make a base before you use the clay? because i wanna try to do these some time... and i wanna learn how to.
Dawww he's so cute! I need to learn how to sculpt better out of clay. I already made a mini staff out of clay, now I'm looking more towards my favorite animals. Gryphons being one of the many lol.
