Edward Elric Customized Figure

So, I love Pinky St. figures [link] I find them stupidly cute, and I have a small army of them on my desk. They do make the odd anime character, but not the one I wanted, which was an Edward Elric Pinky. I rarely watch anime anymore, but Full Metal Alchemist is still one of my very favorite shows. I own both versions of the anime, and still watch them now and then. I recently rewatched FMA: Brotherhood and decided it was time to make this pinky happen!

I've never customized a toy before. I started by butchering a few of my least favorite pinky parts, and building on them. All the parts are interchangeable. I wanted to be able to swap out Ed's red coat and show just his automail. It's the tiniest cutest automail ever

I used colored Premo Sculpey clay for the customizations, and acrylic craft paint for some of the details. I baked the sculpey right onto the plastic without much trouble, though it was a delicate operation since the plastic gets super soft and can warp or melt.

It was nice to work on something a little different and just for myself. I love my Ed pinky! Kinda makes me wanna do another character, it was so much fun! And on that note no I DO NOT TAKE PINKY COMMISSIONS
