I made a mermaid!!! I'm not completely happy with her, but seeing as I never make people, I think she came out pretty well. She was commissioned as a Christmas ornament, but I've been meaning to try a mermaid for a while. I don't particularly like making people, but I've been wanting to make a sea serpent with a little mermaid friend. After Christmas I'll try to work on it :)

I think they make her cuter, but that's me. It's hard when you're not pleased with your work. I've been working on some wings and I just can't get them right...

I love this - BUT I can kinda see where you're coming from too - I wonder if ( because as you said you dont generally make people - although she's not a person - well the top half is lol ) the eyes are a bit too big and dark maybe ?

I still think this is fab tho ^_^ x

Yeah that was my thought exactly. I think in the future I will make them smaller and paint them :)
