Baby Butterfly Dragon by DragonsAndBeasties Baby Butterfly Dragon by DragonsAndBeasties
This little one was given to friend, but I thought I'd share her. I'm working on baby dragons and thought I'd try one with butterfly wings. She isn't quite "baby" enough for me though. The next baby butterflies will be more so. I really love her tail and speckles :D

Sorry the picture quality isn't the best on this one ^^;
Hand-sculpted from polymer clay, about 2 inches tall

QUESTIONS???
Please visit my FAQ page dragonsandbeasties.deviantart.… before asking questions about techniques and materials. Just about every question I get is covered there. I’m not trying to be rude, I just get tired of answering the same questions over and over ^^;

Your art work is so beautiful!  I have made a couple of dragons from your tutorials, and I really want to try one like this. c:

I love your sculptures! What kind of paint and clay do you use?

I just use the paint that my local craft store has nothing fancy :) As for the clay I use premo sculpy polymer clay

How do you avoid getting fingerprints on it?

SMOOTH EVERYTHING FOREVER! xD But really just taking my time to smooth out all the clay with my fingers :) Takes a while to get down
